Presentation Description: The new district cooling installation in Varberg is a state-of-the-art system. At its core, the installation utilizes sea water from the North Sea as a primary cooling source, significantly reducing reliance on traditional energy-intensive air conditioning methods. Thermal energy chilled water storage (TES) is integrated into the system, allowing for the production and storage of chilled water during off-peak hours, which is then distributed efficiently throughout the district as needed.
